Lauren Hagenbuch

M.A., CCC/SLP, Speech Language Pathologist

Lauren Hagenbuch, M.A., CCC/SLP is a licensed speech language pathologist.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The Ohio State University and her graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Akron.  Lauren is licensed by the Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology, the Ohio Department of Education, and is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Lauren has worked with individuals with autism of all ages in educational, out-patient, and community settings.  Lauren’s interest in working with individuals with autism stems from her relationship with her only sibling who has autism and apraxia and utilizes various forms of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).  Lauren has a strong background in AAC, language disorders, and speech sound disorders.  She is particularly interested in helping parents and caregivers understand and embed AAC strategies/supports into their lives and routines.

Lauren is passionate on growing and sharing her knowledge of evidenced-based practices.  She has presented at the Ohio Speech Language Hearing Association Convention, Milestones National Autism Conference, and as a guest speaker in various undergraduate and graduate level classes.
