School Closures & Snow Days

Following is the policy for The KidsLink School in the event of inclement weather:

• Kidslink will follow the district of residence with regard to making the decision to cancel school. This is Streetsboro City School District. While we follow their lead, please look for the official KidsLink School closing.
• KidsLink School will NO LONGER be sending out text alerts from the KidsLink phone. In the event that the local weather proves too harsh, leaving roadways uncleared and temperatures dangerously low, KidsLink School may close, canceling all scheduled sessions and events for the day. Please log onto WKYC.com or fox8.com to view these and all Cleveland area closings. Fox8 will send text alerts directly to your phone in the event of delays or closings of your chosen facilities. To set up these text alerts, go to fox8.com and select closings. Then select closings text alerts and input your information. You must select KidsLink in Streetsboro.
• Should the Streetsboro City School District issue a 2-hour start time delay, The KidsLink School willl be CLOSED for the day.
• The KidsLink School will be listed separately from KidsLink Neurobehaivoral Center. If the school has closed for the day the center will remain open unless otherwise noted. Please check the center’s website at www.kidslinkohio.com to confirm whether the center has closed.

Thank you for your understanding and attention to this issue. It can be a particulary difficult decision considering we have students traveling from a great distance in all directions, and we want to do our best to continue to provide students with their education while also keeping everyone safe.
