KidsLink School Mission

The KidsLink School provides the most efficacious intensive and individualized programming to students with educational and behavioral needs. We strive to improve the quality of life for every student by ensuring high-quality and data-driven interventions. Treatment will be based on current research findings from the most experienced scholars in the field of behavior analysis in the areas of: teaching language, social, self-help, academics, and employability skills.

KidsLink School Program Overview

The KidsLink School is a year-round educational program serving students ages 5–22 with developmental disabilities. Founded in 2010, the school was established to provide individualized and intensive programming for students with autism and other behavioral and developmental disabilities. The program was initiated under the direction of Dr. Jocelyn Geib, whose background in both clinical and educational settings shaped the school’s vision and foundation. Drawing from her experience as a former school director, Dr. Geib created a therapeutic and learning day program designed specifically for students with behavioral and related needs. The KidsLink School is built on best practices that individualize instruction and supports, helping each student maximize their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Evidence-Based Interventions

We integrate Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles into our teaching to create a highly supportive and individualized learning environment for every student. ABA is a well-established scientific approach that provides a wide range of evidence-based teaching strategies designed to promote skill development, independence, and positive behavior. We utilize a variety of ABA-derived techniques, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), positive reinforcement, task analysis, behavioral momentum, token economies, and differential attention/reinforcement, tailored to each student’s unique needs. Our team also implements specific strategies to promote generalization, ensuring that skills learned in the classroom are transferred and maintained across environments and daily routines.

Interdisciplinary Integration

At KidsLink School, each student is supported by a dedicated team of highly qualified and compassionate professionals who are committed to their academic, social, and emotional growth. This interdisciplinary team can potentially include a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Educational Coordinator, Intervention Specialist, Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Psychologist. Based on a comprehensive assessment of your child's strengths and areas of need, often outlined within their IEP or ETR, we will assemble a customized team of professionals who are best suited to support your child's individual goals.

Standard School Program

Our standard school program is designed for students with significant needs across multiple areas of development. Instruction is highly individualized, focusing on each student’s IEP goals while also providing exposure to grade-level standards through group-based lessons. Learning is functionally oriented, helping students build daily living, communication, and academic skills in ways that are meaningful and practical for their growth.Students in this program receive one hour of speech therapy and one hour of occupational therapy per week, unless otherwise specified in their IEP.

Behavior Stabilization Program (BSRP)

The Behavior Stabilization Program (BSRP) serves students who are academically near, at, or above grade level and socially able to participate in structured group learning. Students continue to work on their individualized IEP goals while also being presented with grade-level academic content. The program integrates Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, positive behavioral choices, and coping skill development. Students in BSRP receive one hour of psychological services per week, and speech or occupational therapy can be added if outlined in the student’s IEP. With dedicated counseling and psychological services, BSRP helps students build the skills needed for success and works toward reintegration into their home school district, typically within 18–24 months.
