Kristin
is
a
dedicated
speech-language
pathologist
at
KidsLink.
She
earned
her
Bachelor's
degree
in
Psychology
from
the
University
of
Dayton.
In
2004,
Kristin
began
her
career
as
an
in-home
ABA
tutor,
where
a
pivotal
moment
occurred
when
one
of
her
students
said
his
first
word
during
a
session.
This
experience
ignited
her
passion
for
helping
students
communicate.
Kristin
later
graduated
with
a
Master's
degree
in
Speech-Language
Pathology
from
the
University
of
Akron.
She
brings
a
wealth
of
experience,
particularly
in
working
with
students
with
Autism
and
language
disorders.
Her
professional
interests
include
augmentative
and
alternative
communication
(AAC)
devices,
social
language
skills,
and
functional
communication
skills,
all
aimed
at
helping
students
communicate
as
effectively
as
possible.
At
KidsLink,
Kristin
also
serves
as
the
speech
training
coordinator,
sharing
her
knowledge
and
expertise
with
colleagues.
Recently,
Kristin
completed
her
BCBA
coursework
through
the
Florida
Institute
of
Technology
and
is
now
preparing
to
meet
the
requirements
to
sit
for
the
certification
exam.
