School
Registered
Behavior
Technicians
(RBT)
will
be
using
the
science
of
Applied
Behavior
Analysis
(ABA)
in
the
school
setting.
School
Registered
Behavior
Technicians
will
be
thoroughly
trained
in
the
science
of
Applied
Behavior
Analysis
and
provide
behavioral
support
for
students
requiring
1:1
care
in
the
public
school
environment.
The
behavioral
team
(which
includes
a
Board
Certified
Behavior
Analyst-
BCBA,
Licensed
Professional
Counselor,
Intervention
Specialist)
analyzes
environmental
factors
that
may
be
inhibiting
the
student’s
ability
to
access
their
curriculum
and
works
with
the
student's
support
team
to
most
productively
achieve
their
goals.
Our
School
Behavior
Technicians
receive
ongoing
training
and
supervision
throughout
the
treatment
by
a
licensed
BCBA
in
accordance
with
the
standards
set
forth
by
the
Behavior
Analyst
Certification
Board
(BACB)
and
applicable
state
laws.
Our
ultimate
goal
is
to
enable
the
student
to
achieve
the
greatest
possible
academic,
social,
and
emotional
success
in
their
school
environment
while
being
mindful
to
fade
behavior
support
as
soon
as
possible.
Effective
ABA
intervention
is
not
a
“one
size
fits
all”
approach
and
should
never
be
viewed
as
a
universal
set
of
programs
or
drills.
On
the
contrary,
our
multidisciplinary
team
customizes
the
intervention
to
each
learner’s
skills,
needs,
interests,
developmental
profile,
preferences,
and
setting.
Where
and
When
Do
Sessions
Take
Place?
-
School
Behavior
Technicians
are
placed
either
1:1
or
embedded
classroom
support
cases
in
Northeast
Ohio
School
Districts.
Our
school
cases
start
as
early
as
7:30am
and
end
as
late
as
4:00pm,
however
times
vary
depending
on
specific
case/school.
This
position
would
require
a
minimum
availability
of
8:00am
–
3:00pm,
Monday
–
Friday.

School
Behavior
Technicians
have
the
option
to
provide
services
in
the
KidsLink
school
when
district
students
are
not
in
attendance
and
be
paid
at
their
hourly
rate.
Qualifications:
-
High
school
diploma
(required)
-
RBT
certified
preferred
-
It
is
a
requirement
for
staff
in
this
position
to
obtain
their
RBT
within
a
set
date
upon
hire
-
Experienced
and
comfortable
managing
a
wide
variety
of
maladaptive
behaviors,
ranging
from
anywhere
from
non-compliance,
elopement,
verbal
and
physical
aggression,
self-injurious
behaviors,
etc.
-
Willing
to
drive
up
to
25
miles
each
direction
-
Valid
driver’s
license,
reliable
source
of
transportation,
and
auto
insurance
-
Must
pass
a
criminal
background
check
(BCI
and
FBI)
-
Minimum
of
1
year
commitment
is
REQUIRED
Pay:
-
Hourly
rate
is
pending
education
level,
years
of
experience,
additional
languages,
certifications,
and
licenses.
Our
School
Behavior
Technician
position
pay
range
starts
at
$20/hour.
