Intervention Specialist
The KidsLink School, located in Streetsboro, Ohio is seeking passionate, innovative and caring Intervention Specialists looking for full time employment. The Intervention Specialist will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide special education services for students within the KidsLink School program. The KidsLink School provides year-round therapeutic and learning day programs for students ages 5-22, with behavioral and related needs with licensed and certified staff. Instruction is based on intake assessments and highly individualized to meet the behavioral, educational and therapeutic needs of the student. All interventions are methodology- and research-based, including the foundation of Applied Behavioral Analysis.

Job Requirements:
- Ability to assist in lifts and/or physically manage students of varying sizes and weight
- BCI & FBI background check required
- Reliable transportation
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to make sound and ethical decisions
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
Qualifications:
- Must hold current State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license (K-12)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with students with intensive individualized needs preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs to meet students individual and unique needs
- Monitoring student progress
- Analyze data collected daily though an online platform
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Provide direct instruction in a 1:1 or small group setting using curriculum aligned with the Ohio State Learning Standards
- Collaboration with other KidsLink professionals and families
