Lauren Baird, MOT, OTR/L, is a licensed and registered, board certified occupational therapist. She has a focus in school-based and clinic-based therapy. Lauren is also licensed by the Ohio Department of Education in occupational therapy. She completed her undergraduate degree at Miami University (Ohio), and her masters of occupational therapy from Cleveland State University.
Lauren has been working with children since 2013 with a variety of conditions such as autism, developmental delays, and physical disabilities. She has a passion for promoting mental health in children and has contributed to the development of the Comfortable Cafeteria, a program of the Every Moment Counts grant project developed to help all children and youth become mentally healthy in order to succeed in school, at home, and in the community. Other professional focuses include sensory processing and play-based therapy. Lauren currently lives in Auburn with her husband and daughter.
