SUCCESS Club – The SUCCESS Club is a psychology-based social skill group for children with ADHD, Asperger Disorder or high functioning autism. It is a therapeutic program designed to teach specific social skills, followed by group opportunities to allow practice of those skills. Teen Groups for Middle School age and High School age – Teen groups are a psychology-based social group for students with social anxiety, ADHD or high-functioning autism. The groups are divided into Middle School age and High School age. Teens are able to discuss issues and social situations that they encounter at school and learn to problem-solve together in a therapeutic setting. Community activities are provided which help to allow practice of social skills in a natural setting. To benefit from this program, participants should be in a regular education curriculum with age-appropriate verbal skills.
Peers with Purpose – Designed for teens 13 – 18 with mild to moderate cognitive and/or social behavioral impairments. DATING - Basics and Beyond – Developed and facilitated by Kristin Uland, M.A., CCC/SLP and Kristin Hopkins, MOT, OTR/L. This program is for teens 14 – 17 years of age diagnosed with high functioning autism, ADHD, anxiety, mild language deficits and/or social/pragmatic deficits who will benefit from learning the skills of and understanding relationships, dating, sexual education, and self-advocacy skills around intimacy and relationships. Young Adult Group – This is a psychology-based social skills group for Young Adults who have graduated from high school. Designed for those with Asperger's disorder, high functioning autism and/or ADHD, social anxiety disorder, or have difficulty being in group settings. The program promotes social development, social engagement and self-esteem through center-based (which offers an opportunity to "host") and community-based activities.
