COVID-19 Update

KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center is now providing direct on site services.  We continue to provide all services via telehealth where applicable.  These services include appointments with our physician, NP, Psychologists, BCBAs, OTs, PT and Speech Therapists.

We are implementing extensive precautionary measures to keep our staff and clients safe during on site appointments.  Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is utilized by all staff with additional cleaning and sanitizing measures being performed between each appointment and at regularly scheduled times throughout the day.

Mini Med Tune-ups

Is your child having more difficulty with anxiety, aggression or Self-injurious behaviors during the COVID stay-at-home orders? Are you having difficulty with getting an appointment with your specialist during this busy time? We are happy to help! Dr. Nevada Reed and Nurse Practitioner Amanda Bettis are available for consultative “Mini Med Tune-Ups” to support you and your child .

Mini Med Tune-Ups are:

TIMELY - We should be able to accommodate your child within 7-10 days of request. Appointments will include a 15 minute phone interview with our RN to get background information. This will be followed by 15 minute telehealth appointment with Dr. Reed or NP Bettis.
CONVENIENT - Your appointment will be on a HIPAA- compliant telehealth platform. Internet connectivity is required for the appointment.
PROBLEM DIRECTED - Our goal is to assist with urgent adjustments that are needed for treatment of a specific, previously diagnosed problem, such as anxiety, aggression or SIB.
CONSULTATIVE - We recognize that many hospital-based specialists are being temporarily pulled into in-patient care. Any suggested changes will be relayed back to your regular provider for ongoing care.
COST CONSCIOUS - Our practice is private pay, but these appointments will be at a reduced cost of $60. In addition, you are eligible to get a Health Claim Form to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you are allowed to use out-of-network providers.

If your child has more complex medical needs or you would like ongoing services, we are happy to schedule you for a more traditional new patient appointment.


New App!                                                   

We are excited to make available to KidsLink families, a free mobile app called VX, developed by Cleveland’s own technology company, vitalxchange. VX will connect our family via a mobile app, so that our families can support each other, share experiences, and help each other thrive.

We felt strongly that under the present situation of mandatory social isolation due to COVID, our families will find it very useful to have a community like VX.
