The KidsLink School, located in Streetsboro, is a year round program which services students with behavioral and developmental disabilities and related diagnoses. Therapists are expected to work directly with students who have intensive behavioral and/or instructional needs in a 1:1, 1:2, or small group setting utilizing the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis. Individuals in this role are paid a starting salary of $25,000 working 35 hours per week on our modified school calendar. Supervision for full-time, aspiring BCBA’s and BCaBA’s is provided at no cost to the employee. The job includes medical, dental, and vision benefit plans, as well as a 401k match plan.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Working directly with students utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Taking frequency, duration, accuracy, and anecdotal data throughout the day
- Electronically graphing and analyzing trends
- Creating new materials and updating worksheets and data sheets
- Working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Intervention Specialist to monitor student academic and behavioral progress
- Implementing individualized behavior support plans and IEPs
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of an associate's degree in a related service field (i.e. – psychology, speech and language pathology, special education, etc)
- Ability to lift and/or physically manage students and adults of varying sizes and weight
- Background, training or experience working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
